Society Pink

why children in society brainwashed to believe that they want the pink?
In other words, if they are gay. A color is a color and nothing else. It should have nothing to do with sexual preference.
You are absolutely right, is for "normal" society that the boys are girls are pink, blue. It is also mostly a thing of the West, many cultures are a different color this way. Rosa is sometimes perceived as feminine, but not I think it is – as you say is only one color. If you raise your child in pink and in a society where the rose is like any other color that would make no difference either. Many children in our society today are not obliged to like all the colors at all. Most clothing is very Guy mate – gray, blue or black. Very little color at all. It rather sad.

Pink Floyd’s The Wall – A Critical Review (DVD) $26.98 An ambitious concept album that marked a turning point in Pink Floyd`s trajectory as well as popular music in general, THE WALL traces the rise and fall of a rock star, Pink Floyd. Based on bassist Roger Waters`s experiences, it describes the erection and demolition of a psychological barrier behind which the star is isolated from society. Initially conceived as an extravagant live show, a double album, and a feature-length film, the release contained more songs than Floyd had released to date, and the concert was so elaborate that the band could stage it only a few times. Here, original quotes from band members and critics then and now shed light on this landmark event in 20th-century rock music, dispelling misconceptions and adding insight into the ever-expanding body of criticism on this important work. |

The School and Society $17.59 First published in 1899,The School and Society describes John Dewey’s experiences with his own famous Laboratory School, started in 1896. Dewey’s experiments at the Laboratory School reflected his original social and educational philosophy based on American experience and concepts of democracy, not on European education models then in vogue. This forerunner of the major works shows Dewey’s pervasive concern with the need for a rich, dynamic, and viable society. In his introduction to this volume, Joe R. Burnett states Dewey’s theme. Industrialization, urbanization, science, and technology have created a revolution the schools cannot ignore. Dewey carries this theme through eight chapters: The School and Social Progress; The School and the Life of the Child; Waste in Education; Three Years of the University Elementary School; The Psychology of Elementary Education; Froebel’s Educational Principles; The Psychology of Occupations; and the Development of Attention. |

Society of the Spectacle $6.85 Few works of political and cultural theory have been as enduringly provocative as Guy Debord's Society of the Spectacle.
